Jacob Gaither
He didn’t know it at the time, but Jacob Gaither was learning how to be a thorough and trusted home inspector on the golf course. He honed mechanical skills, precision and focus during his years as a golf professional. Now, those traits are directed to discovering and reporting a home’s condition rather than developing a swing.
In addition to his hands-on experience, Jacob brings professional training and accomplishments to his work, including:
- Owner and operator of a handyman business for 3 years
- ASHI@Home training program (known as the most comprehensive training program available)
- Member, ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors)
- Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Kennesaw State University
The best part of the home inspection for Jacob is sharing results with a home buyer so they can be confident with their purchase. “Buying or selling a home is a fun, but stressful time. Being able to provide my clients with information that might help alleviate some of that stress makes my job fulfilling,” he says.
Jacob was born and raised in Georgia. He currently resides in Dallas, Georgia with his wife. They are the parents of two children, one just graduating from college and one just starting. When not in the field, Jacob enjoys traveling, going to the beach and, no surprise, playing golf.
Amazing service! Jake did a wonderful job, the inspection was knowledgeable, thorough, and insightful. Jake was respectful to the tenants living there are and was easy to talk to all around. We even spoke after the inspection about things in the inspection report and he gave additional insight and knowledge. He was on time and took the necessary time to do the inspection. Overall 10 out of 10.
